Standard cancellation (3 calendar days or more)

• Cancel a scheduled project ≥ 3 calendar days before the agreed start date and receive a 75 % refund of your deposit.
• 25 % remains non-refundable as it covers time reserved and administrative preparation.
• If any materials have already been purchased, their full cost is deducted separately.

Late cancellation (less than 3 calendar days)

• Cancelling < 3 calendar days before the start returns 50 % of the deposit.
• The remaining 50 % compensates for lost working time.
• Pre-purchased material costs are still charged.

What counts as a “project”
A project is any job that requires advance consultation, a written estimate, or material preparation and is more than a simple one-time task (e.g., hanging a mirror or swapping a light switch). Projects are reviewed case-by-case.

Right to cancel — Colorado law
Under the Colorado Home Solicitation Sales Act (C.R.S. § 5-3-401 et seq.), any service contract signed away from the contractor’s normal place of business can be canceled within three business days of signing without penalty.

• This right applies to project agreements valued at $25 or more that are signed at the customer’s home or another off-site location.
• To exercise this right, provide written or emailed notice following the instructions in § 5-3-402.

Refunds

• Refunds for valid cancellations are issued to the original payment method within 10 business days of receiving your cancellation notice, in compliance with C.R.S. § 5-3-402(3).
